March 2: Texas Independence Day

I can’t believe it . . . I had my dates mixed up, and I almost missed Texas Independence Day! I’m Texas born and bred, so this is a complete and total calamity. My deepest apologies to everyone in Texas and all those who, like me, are Texans in exile.
