Happy Kid Inventors’ Day! The day celebrates all child inventors, but the date was chosen to honor Benjamin Franklin’s birthday. Apparently, one of his first inventions was a pair of flippers to help him swim better around age 12. If you’re a child, January 17 is a great day to start inventing. If you’re not . . . well, January 17 is still a good day to invent something!

“How many are your works, O Lord!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.”

Psalm 104:24
