March 2: Dr. Seuss Day

Theodore Geisel 1957Happy Dr. Seuss Day! On March 2, 1904, Theodor Seuss Geisel was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and children’s literature has never been the same since.

Dr. Seuss gave us plenty of ways to celebrate today – a great many books, pictures, comics, etc. – and others have added a plethora of movies to the mix. What’s your favorite Dr. Seuss book?

“Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.”

Psalm 127:3

P. S. It’s also Texas Independence Day!
