I normally try to avoid holidays associated with specific brands, but I couldn’t resist this one. Eat Your Jello Day is celebrated every July 12 to celebrate Jello, yes, but also to celebrate its long time spokesman, Bill Cosby. Cosby was born July 12, 1937, and soon became a famous funny man and actor. I know there hasn’t been a new episode for over twenty years, but “The Cosby Show” is still one of my favorite television shows of all time.
You can celebrate Eat Your Jello Day with a nice bowl of jello or pudding (even though Jello Pudding Pops no longer exist) and some laughs with Cosby. He’s given us lots of options to watch, and, turning 76 today, he’s still going strong.

but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
