September 12: National Chocolate Milkshake Day

Now this is one of those holidays I can really support: September 12 is National Chocolate Milkshake Day. Although I’ve made some pretty delicious ones with nothing but store brand vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and milk, this day makes me want to visit a diner with my husband while 1950s music plays in the background.

Personally, I like a milkshake even better than ice cream, and sometimes nothing hits the spot like plain, perfect, chocolate – not that I’d object to some add ins! Feel free to add cookie dough, oreos, reeses, or whatever you feel like. And, of course, don’t forget to top it all with some whip cream and a cherry!

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”

1 John 4:7
